The Oru coffee table was inspired by the art of paper folding.

The Oru coffee table was inspired by the art of paper folding.

Oru was born out of a series of studies (paper, basswood, light, chipboard). The challenge was to create a dynamic piece of furniture out of a flat sheet of material.

Every study illuminated a new and interesting characteristic: color, light, reflectivity and materiality.

Oru is waterjet cut, bent aluminum, painted in an auto finish: gloss white top with a matte blue underside.

The table has two usable surfaces that are parallel to the ground. The tallest point of the table measures at 11” while the lowest point measures at 5”.

Oru comes in a variety of colors and finishes.
